Could there be an issue where Session Buddy fails to retain sessions you've saved, if you do not quit the Chrome browser?  Has anyone else noticed this?  Is the solution as simple as being sure to regularly quit Chrome?

For a time I was in the habit of leaving Chrome open for many days at a time before quitting it.  I'm not completely certain, but it seems that sessions I had saved over that period were not visible the next time I opened the browser.  I'm quite sure that this has happened when Chrome, after being open many days, has crashed.

I've never observed this, but it's a possible bug (either in SB or Chrome).

I wasn't able to reproduce this when testing by forcing a shutdown, but there could be multiple variables at play.

Which OS and version of Chrome are you using?

Seeing the same thing. I had 5 windows, about 200 tabs total. Closed windows one by one, restarted computer, and after that SB shows only 1 last closed window. Other windows are not showing up in previous session. Also I've seen situations that windows are retained, but they contain outdated list of tabs.

@EB Yours is actually a different situation from what OP is describing.

To help ensure that all of the open windows and tabs are saved by Session Buddy when concluding your browsing session, close Chrome using the Exit item in Chrome's menu.

When closing windows or tabs individually, Session Buddy can't always determine that you're doing so as part of an intent to conclude your browser session if there is a significant pause between individual close actions.
