Closed sessions aren't saved?

I just organized a number of sessions into 3 categories. I closed two of the categories, then opened Session Buddy to label them, but they were not there. Only the sessions remaining open were there. I did  not realize it eliminates closed sessions. Luckily I found a workaround - clicked Chrome Settings, highlighted recent tabs, found the sessions there and re-opened them so I can save them to Session Buddy now. But maybe Session Buddy shouldn't be so quick to eliminate closed sessions?
