Chrome ate all my extensions; SB being "disappeared" is the harshest tokes

this is in no way SB's fault, but perhaps i can get some guidance.  there's a recently documented Chrome issue where people restart their Chrome and all their extensions and bookmarks vanish.  i got the bookmarks sorted inside my profile folder, but i don't know what sequence to follow to reinstate my list of recent sessions.  fairly adept with the command line, i just don't know which of the various extension folders has all the stuff.  please help.
