folder url \ link to folder

the problem is to be able to link to a Session Buddy folder \ I'm trying various options

1]  New Tab paste > when i paste the url of a folder into a new tab [Chrome \ desktop] the folder i wanted opens 

-- this is true even when i am not already logged into Session Buddy

-- this is great \ BUT i need to be able to store the url somewhere outside of Session Buddy

2]  Google Sheet paste >  this is what i really need \ and it does not work

-  when i paste the url into google-sheets cell [ctrl-k] the following occurs >

a] i get auto-suggestion for Session Buddy

--- if i accept that then the link goes to the Session Buddy Chrome Web store page 

-- so that option does not allow me to link to the folder 

b]  when i ignore the auto-suggestion and do Apply i get "Link doesn't look right. Typo?"

-- and no more action available 

3]  Chrome Bookmarks >  pasting the folder link into Chrome Bookmarks works also \ even when SB not open already 

-- what i need is to be able to link to my relevant 'research' folder in Session Buddy from google-sheets cells

-- note that Gmail easily provides for linking to email Threads \ 

-- is there a way to link to Session Buddy folders from some useful place ? \ thanks
