Save and Close current window

Is there any technical reason to disable save and close for the current window? It gets pretty annoying.  I'd expect save and close to save/close everything other than the current tab (ie, the session-buddy tab).

It made sense when it was implemented but I agree in practice it is annoying.

I'll make sure this is addressed in the next release (v4.1)
