Hi all,

Out of nowhere today, the Session Buddy extension on my chromebook just dropped all of my saved sessions, which is a significant number. The extension had crashed either earlier today or yesterday and when I re-launched it tonight, to my dismay, it was completely empty. I am wondering what the storage location is for ChromeOS. I am aware I can view this information in chrome://version but when I attempt to navigate there I have difficulty and thus I am seeking some insight here. So the real question is more so how do I access this location. I am also wondering how I would retrieve this data because however it is stored, if there is a SQL database or what-not, it could be now presumably overwritten. Any suggestions for tools (free ideally) would be useful also.

Any additional information that may be helpful would be appreciated. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for your help in advance.

I don't know MacOS but find the folder of your profile, probably named "Default" - in it, there should be a folder called "databases" - look for the one with "edacconmaakjimmfgnblocblbcdcpbko" in the name (that's the Extension ID of Session Buddy).

The file in there is a SQLlite DB - copy it out and take a look.
However, if SB doesn't show any sessions you might be out of luck.
