I tend to have many (dozens) of windows up with several hundred tabs across
them. I run linux and have 9 virtual screens. I move different sets of
windows/tabs to different screens
but when I restart and reload the session, everything ends up appearing on the
same screen (not too surprising) but the interleving of the windows from the
various screens is unpredictable.
I would love to have a way to re-order the windows in how sessionbuddy is
trackign them.
ideally by going with the order that I see them on my taskbar, but the biggest
thing is to get all of screen 1's windows before all of the screen 2 windows,
before the screen 3 windows, etc
if it can't be done automatically, is there a drag-n-drop way that I can
re-organize the windoes inside sessionbuddy?
the only thing I've been able to find so far is, on startup, go through manually
opening windows in the desired order, and that order will be maintained at the
next startup (for the windows that are open, new windows will appear in the
order they were opened, with no regard to what window they were on)
is there a better way to do this?
