Is it possible to implement a feature which if I have 2 or more saved sessions, I can move some of the saved tabs from one session to another?
Also, is there a way to add tabs to existing saved sessions?

This will be available in a future release.

Is there still no timeline for this?

You've been promising a future release for over a year. I understand external time pressures and now you have the bugs to fix because of newer chrome versions but some indication of when and what would be hugely appreciated as the extension is becoming useless without management functionality.

Thanks

I appreciate the interest and understand the pain point all too well. As a user myself I'm dying to have the ability to easily reorder and move tabs.

The next version will include that feature and much more. It's a full rewrite that I'm currently focused on full-time. Give my current pace I'm looking at September as a manageable target.

The main reason for the rewrite is to facilitate sync and Firefox/Safari ports, so once the dust settles on the next release, sync should not be far behind.

I really appreciate your support and patience and look forward to your feedback on the next version.

Hello Hans,

I am dying to get this function!

I don't see it in the newest release?

Thanks.

It's coming, but the rewrite (v4.0) is taking longer than expected. Because of the delay, we decided to temporarily focus some of our attention on the current code base as a sort of concession, for what it's worth, to users who have been waiting for better import/export/backup and a handful of bug fixes. We will likely continue to release minor improvements and bug fixes into v3.x releases prior to releasing v4.0, which will include moving/copying/adding windows/tabs within and across sessions.

Hi, is this feature going to be included in any new versions? I cant figure out how to move tabs between saved sessions. You have some great features and I like the user interface, simple, clean, but has enough useful info. It would be sooooo great to be able to sort tabs into other windows, so that I can essentially make folders.

.... and sync between devices ... and an android app, just a little wishlist, and yes, i would be wiling to pay, around one time $20, or $5-10/yr seems reasonable to me, but i dont know if that would be enough for you as a developer. Just no monthly fee please : )

I can't quite tell if this has been added in the latest release, but I'm wondering how to add a tab to a collection.  Should I just delete the collection I have and create a new one that includes the tab I want to add?

I've found that if you click-drag across multiple sessions you get the option to copy or merge them into one big session which is awkward but would solve this problem.

Hi zsb,  thanks for the trick. I see only options Merge, Save, Open - no Copy option.  All in all this is far form what we need SO MUCH.

Could SessionBuddy Support answer this topic pls, after more than five years I hope that our patience should be granted. And if nothing is done for now, tell us at least why and/or give some timeframes if any.

Hoping to read you soon.
