To clarify the permissions needed by Session Buddy:

Read your browsing history

This means that Session Buddy can see the URLs of the pages you visit. This is required for Session Buddy's core functionality. Session Buddy cannot read the content of pages you visit or what you type into a page's text fields.

Display notifications

This permission is used to provide feedback when saving a session via a page's "Save current session" context menu item.

Modify data you copy and paste

This permission allows you to copy session data to the clipboard by clicking "Copy to Clipboard" in the Export dialog box. This permission does not allow Session Buddy to read information from the clipboard. In order to read from the clipboard, an extension needs to request a separate permission that will show that it can Read data you copy and paste.

I hope that clears things up for you. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Cheers,
Hans
