The drop-down menu in Session Buddy currently has an option to "Overwrite with current". This is enabled only if a saved session is selected, and will overwrite that saved session with all tabs in all windows.

I'd like a new option to "Overwrite with current Window". This option should be enabled only if a saved session is selected *and* (arguably, or configurably!) if that saved session has just one Window. On choosing "Overwrite with current Window" the saved session would be replaced by the tabs in the current browser window.

This would reflect my current (novice) usage of Session Buddy: Many of my saved sessions are single-window sessions, and I often end up having several of these saved session "open" (using the "Open tabs in one window" option) at one time. But in order to update the saved session, I have to "Overwrite with current" and then delete the windows from the saved session that are not relevant. Perhaps, as a novice, I am missing an easier way to do this?

Thanks very much for Session Buddy - it's a boon!

Thanks Matt, that's a great idea. I'm surprised it hasn't been requested before.

I'll put it on the list for v4.

How about putting it on the window name context menu? That way you can overwrite just parts of your session.
