Thought it will sort itself out and return to normal after a while but it didn't go away. CPU usage stands at 25% every time I browse on the extension page.

Hi Ken, can you provide some more details?

Which version of Chrome are you using?

How are you assessing CPU usage? Window Task Manager? Mac Activity Monitor?

Can you use Chrome Task Manager (Chrome menu > More tools > Task manager) to provide a screenshot of SB's usage?

Does the usage correlate with engagement with a particular feature or does it pretty much shoot to 25% and stay there after opening a SB tab? What if you open multiple SB tabs?

Thanks,
Hans

Woops sorry I didn't realize Chrome hasn't updated itself. Hope this will still be useful for others.
1. Chrome 58.0.3029.110 64bit
2. Chrome task manager shows 25% every time I interact with SB tab. (missed the RAM usage as I jumped to updating, was normal as I remembered it.)
3. Same occurs with multiple SB tabs.
Hmm SB tab stuck at loading now that I updated to Chrome 59.0.3071.109. Normal CPU (~0%) and RAM (38k) usage. I can still access the features in menu, including back up successfully.
Current SB:
Platform: Win32
Language: en-US
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.109 Safari/537.36
Pixel Ratio: 1
SB ID: edacconmaakjimmfgnblocblbcdcpbko
SB Version: 3.6
SB Status: OK
Will update as it goes.

I really needed to use SB so I reinstalled and it worked fine (if there's any logs/files I can still provide I will). Currently importing my 97.5MB backup json.

Can comfirm everything is working properly! I suspect something gone wrong as my sessions grow and Chrome hasn't caught up with the latest version after I updated SB.
Life returns to normal.
Btw as I was reinstalling in Chrome store I saw a possible feature for SB: Restoring session without loading tabs to save RAM (like those extensions killing your tabs). Is this viable?

Thanks for the follow up Ken. I'm glad you got it sorted.

Restoring session without loading tabs to save RAM

Yep that's on the roadmap under "Deferred tab load".
