Had this kind of question, along with a few variants of the question as well. I want to know if anyone's spent the cash to find out the answer to this question, because i have no idea who else to ask.
-Suppose you have a game on Switch Digitally. Then you put in the physical cartridge of that game. What happens?
-What about if you delete or archive the digital game and then put in a Cartridge of that game, updating it too? What happens then?
-And let's have a little fun here- What happens if you get the game physically, delete the data saved on the console for the cartridge, and then buy the game digitally? What happens then?
I'm just curious, is all, and i don't have the cash to check this kind of thing myself.

If you have both physical & digital, the switch will play the game from the cart when the cart is inserted. The switch doesn't care where the game comes from. The save data is stored separately from the game on the Switch's internal memory. So, you don't have to worry about changing from physical to digital, or digital to physical. It doesn't matter which you owned first.

It would be messy, and pretty much impossible. One way would be to centrally regulate games being bought and sold. Like a specific website for reselling games. However, that would end up being very costly in terms of sales, as everybody would dislike it.

The only downside is, selling physically could lead to scams if the game is transferred. A simply check by inserting the cartridge first would be an easy fix for trade ins, but online sales... that would be a problem. And I don't know the answer.

If so, then my idea would work. The game is registered to a switch automatically for first use, but needs to be deregistered to work in another.
As long as the game is registered to that switch, then a digital copy can be played. When the game is deregistered then the digital version is inaccessible until it is bought.

Nintendo offer a loyalty points reward scheme called My Nintendo for both digital and physical game purchases. Currently the points can be used for discounts on titles from the Nintendo eshop. Buying digital can earn up to 5x more points then a physical purchase.

For example if you bought Zelda: BOTW

Hi, I have a problem my switch does not recognize the joy con as connected when i slide it in the switch. The joy con still works but only wirelessly. It does get charged but nothing else. I tried other joy-cons with no luck.

Have you by any chance checked the joy-cons or the switch connector pins to see if any are bent or missing? They are located on the bottom of the plastic piece where the joy-con would slide into the rail socket and the bottom of the rail.

I have a similar problem but with my left joycon, when detached from the console it works wirelessly, but when connected to the console the switch does not detect it being attached so will not work in sync with the right joycon unless it is also detached.

I had this problem with my right Joy con not connecting wirelessly. I went into system settings, controllers and sensors. I then attached the joy con that was not connecting wirelessly to the switch. I then hit the disconnect controllers button and hit the X button. This allowed me to use the joy con wirelessly again.

Ok so I had the same problem and I got it fixed. Detach the joycon and there is a small round black button on the left side, the side which gets attached and detached from the switch, it's between the Sl and Sr button. Press on the small round button and it will reset it

I had this problem and was able to fix it by opening up the joycon. I noticed that there was a thin small black square, on edge, next to the battery that seemed out of place (NFC perhaps?). This may have happened when I opened it up but I repositioned it back anyway. I also took some rubbing alcohol and cleaned both rail contacts on the joy con and switch (I had use a piece of paper towel and toothpick to clean the console contact). Put it all back together and now it works.

I tried all these, none worked. My joy con worked wirelessly, but not when connected to switch. Discovered the problem was not the joy con but on the switch where the joy con slides in. At the bottom of slide there is a hole and if you shine a light in there you can see the metal connectors. I just put a tiny flathead screwdriver in there covered with a soft cloth and gently cleaned it out. Put the joy con back on and this time it made the click noise and was working again.

I just purchased a Nintendo switch the right joy-con will not connect will not charge and is not recognized by the console. It worked when I first bought it only for a while I let it charge all night long and now it will not even turn on. I have tried disconnecting reconnecting disconnecting reconnecting from the console. I have tried pressing the button to reconnect the joy-con to the system. I can't even get a green light to come on on the joy-con. Please help

I have a Canon Powershot A95. it's been working ok but I want to take 4-5 min. videos. it only had a 32 Mb Compact flash. So I bought a 2 Gb Compact Flash. When I first got it I mistakenly tried to insert it sideways. I didn't push too hard but obviously that didn't work. When I tried it correctly it wouldn't seat properly - also the original 32 mb won't seat fully now either. Both stop about 1/16 inch short of proper insertion. Tried several times never pushing too hard. I looked deep into the male pin area and I don't see any bent pins so what is keeping this from seating ? i do see a small steel pin in the area - wonder if there is some other trip mechanism that could release whatever is blocking it ???

It sounds like your card is locked. You need to unlock it. On one of the sides you should see a piece that can move back and forth. Move it from the position it is now to the other side. This should unlock your card. When locked the files are unaccessible to anyone. This also means that files on the SD card cannot be deleted while the switch is in lock position. When the switch is in up-position, then all files located on the card are accessible to anyone, and that files may be deleted from the card.

I bought an iPad as a gift and was asked if the receipt can be sent by e-mail. I realised that my email address is outdated and doesn't work anymore. Is there a way to get the receipt for my purchase? Logging into the iTunes store only shows app purchases but no devices.

For comparison, getting every item physically would cost roughly $250, nearly $170 more than the Digital Deluxe Edition for the same in-game content -- of course, it also includes the admittedly cool ships themselves.

But even just to get the same content as the $60 Digital Edition physically would cost about $200 for the physical toys. All of the add-on packs are also half price for their digital incarnations, so the $25 Ship Packs that include 1 ship, 1 pilot, and 1 gun are only $13 through the eShop, PSN, or Microsoft Store.

Ships essentially act as extra lives during combat, allowing you to swap one out (either physically or digitally) when you die to save you from having to respawn far away. Weapons, on the other hand, have different elemental effects that are strong against certain enemies or can open certain types of doors -- the Starter Kit comes with a fire weapon and an ice weapon, but the Digital Edition has at least one of each type of weapon effect to choose from.
