Howis this not a thing? I am a musician and I store my audio files in Dropbox. I make them available offline and listen to them OVER AND OVER AND OVER again to memorize. A repeat button would be so simple and add so much value. Can you please add this? Crazy to me that it's 2023 and it doesn't exist yet in your app.
You should be able to repeat audio files. It's the double arrow button in the bottom-right corner in the audio player. If you don't see it, can you provide which version of the app you're using and which platform you're on? Here's a couple screenshots - one of the iOS app, and one of the Android app. Same icon on both.
Apparently VLC has an A-B repeat feature, but how do I use it? There's even a related feature request. I can't find any GUI controls for it (Windows VLC version 1.1.9) I am aware there is a possible command-line method, but I seek a more user-friendly GUI/keyboard solution.
Play the video and while it's playing Press the 'Loop' button at the point you wish the loop to start (Point A) then press it again at Point B the point you wish it to return to point A. Pressing a third time clears the loop.
Another option could be AB Loop Player which runs in the web browser and allows you to fine-tune the A-B loop range and to bookmark and annotate loops for later sessions. Moreover it can be used with YouTube videos.
I clicked right on the mouse, a list appeared and I drew the click on "tools", then I clicked "Personalise Interface". I rolled down to "AB Loop" which I held with the right of the mouse and drew up to the list of buttons up and placed it accordind to my preference... Now Im enjoying...
I really love that I can now attach music files to notes and play them within the note as I write. I am using Evernote in iOS for scene writing and I use this feature as a way of setting the mood for the scene I'm working on while also appending the audio file to the note for reference later. The only thing that would personally make this better would be the ability to loop an audio file so it repeats when it ends. The current lack of a repeat/loop function requires me to scroll back up and hit play again every 2-3 minutes which does become a little distracting while writing. I don't know how difficult this would be to implement and this may be a very niche feature since most people probably use the audio feature to attach dictation or audio notes but I think it would be a nice addition for screenwriters or playwrights who implement the use of background music while scene writing like myself.
Is there a way to play mp3 files on repeat in google chrome? That would be very useful on my chromebook, because the chrome browser media player is not affected by the audio enforcement feature on chromebooks, unlike all other media players.
Hi guys lovely app it's best one till date that I have used. Could you add this feature IN the repeat function of playing the track for as many times and then stopping after playing the track for say -3 or 5 or 11 or 108 times and then stopping. That would be very nice function to have in an already great player.
Nope thats not for me , as time will need to be calculated for that particular song. Which is a INDIRECT Method, @andrewilleyThis Request how can I put it thru to the development team of Poweramp , Thanks in advance. Peace.
Hi Andre...hope all good with you...Some tracks (local Files) which are there with me are for 3.3 minutes some are 10.10 minutes and some 10 secs or 46 secs so when I place them in repeat, I need them to be played 108 times a minimum, some 108x2 = 216, some 108x3=324 , always 108 x different numbers Ranging from "2 to 324" these are very specific number of repetitions so calculating their times does not always bring up the correct time (& also Math's is not very good with me) also request you to NOT post these answer's on the forum. Incase this feature can be implemented It would be very helpful to me. In case you do want to reach me, I will be available on this email - p****a@gmail. Thanks, have a good day- Peace.

If I've got the ability to load up 6 discs with plenty of MP3's (well, really I use WMA's, but...) then what's the point if I have to still listen to it all in alphabetical order??! I realize I can always just connect my Sansa (MP3 player)...heck, I've got 4200 songs on there, but I want a random mode on my CD player!!!!!
mine's the standard 6-disc player...no navigation, no hard disc drive. you can actually load this thing up with 6 DVD's filled with 4.7gb's of music each (at this time i just have 5 CD's and 1 DVD just to test its capabilities though).
hmmm seems like the REQ radio (6 disc non sat radio) has no random play, that seems to be very very strange. The RAQ radios had random but it looks like the REQ does not,.... still digging for you I want to be sure for you
well, they obviously gave the Journey a slightly different radio...mine IS a satellite 6-disc cd changer, however, no "RND" or "RAND" button anywhere - you'd think if they redid this radio that they'd realize the skipped that feature and would add it back! i'm guessing some guy in the radio design department ran out of buttons and just thought "oh well, no one will notice..."
I have the same issue with using an iPod touch, I can select random on the iPod, and guess what a random button lights up on the car stereo and it plays the list randomly,, but u cant Change that unless u disconnect the iPod and remove the shuffle option via the iPod, then the random light turns off, so if they have the ability to know if it's in random playback, then why the hell did they leave of the random option to select it via the car stereo!!! So annoying
I'm building audio player with jQuery. And I managed to do almost everything that I wanted, but I can not make song to repeat when I click on repeat button. It should repeat if I click on repeat button and if it is enabled, when I click again to disable it. I init audio with music = new Audio()I tried to use some thing like:
Don't worry - it's quick and painless! Just click below, and once you're logged in we'll bring you right back here and post your question. We'll remember what you've already typed in so you won't have to do it again.
Everytime I open the app it switches playback to repeat/loop. It's not much of an issue if I hit play on a playlist. But I generally don't use playlists except at work. When I search a song and click it to play, its automatically on repeat. Since the "playlist" for one song is well... One song. That means it defaults to repeating the same song. I know the "solution" is to just uncheck the loop. But it's a hassle to open the player and change it every single time I start the app with a new session. And I'm usually not thinking about that. I'm thinking "I wanna listen to Torna a Casa and the rest of the songs the algorithm suggests like it." And it makes it essentially impossible to start listening hands free.
If possible, feel free to include videos showing how things look from your end. Should the files be too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us as unlisted YouTube videos or via Google Drive.
Hey there @la1892,
Thanks for posting on the Community!
Could you check if clearing stored cache from the app makes any difference? Just make sure to switch off the Repeat function first. Once it's done, try logging out and then back in again. As odd as this may sound, this should resync your account info.
Should the Repeat function still show as switched on, could you send us a video showing how things look from your end? If the files are too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us via Google Drive or as unlisted YouTube videos.
Can you guys please get rid of the automatic replay? Like when you select a song and the replay button is just on by default. Why? If I want the same song to keep looping, I'll tap it myself. Get rid of it or give me and option to turn auto-replay off
If you've already toggled off the Repeat feature, it should remain deactivated even if you play something else. Perhaps you had it toggled on from a previous listening session, so try disabling it again. Still, it's worth logging out and signing back in to your account - this will trigger an internal refresh of the app that may help here.
Repeat button turns itself on. Then I want to throw my phone into the river. Who in the heck wants to hear the same thing over and over? Are y'all trying to make us hate the music that Iwe loved? Previous posts on the topic say ongoing issue since February? Have mercy!
This is so infuriating that I will check the repeat button when starting an album to confirm that it's off and yet the album will still repeat and then the button will have miraculously, like little baby jesus, appeared.
I think i have the same problem because ill listen music on shuffle on my playlist and it will just keep playing the sames songs Pleural that i've been listing that same day it just gets annoying hear the same songs i want to hear other songs in my playlist too like.
I hope you're doing well. I've recently encountered an issue when connecting my phone to my car via Bluetooth, and I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience or if you have any advice on how to resolve this issue.
