Plot Summary
Mallika (Manisha Koirala) is a successful pop star who loves Rahul Kapoor (Aryan Vaid), the owner of RK Music World. However, she does not want to marry him as she believes that marriage kills love and attraction. Rahul respects her decision and considers her as his best friend. They have a physical relationship but nothing more. Mallika's career starts to decline as her albums fail to impress the audience. Rahul decides to launch a new talent, Rashmi Jaitly (Preeti Jhangiani), who is a talented singer and dancer. Rashmi's debut album becomes a huge hit and she becomes an overnight sensation. Rahul falls in love with Rashmi and proposes to her. Rashmi accepts his proposal and they plan to get married.
Mallika is shocked and heartbroken by Rahul's change of heart. She realizes that she loves him more than anything and cannot live without him. She tries to win him back by seducing him and threatening him. When nothing works, she orders her personal bodyguard Jaidev (Sharad Kapoor) to kill Rahul. Jaidev is secretly in love with Mallika and agrees to do anything for her. He follows Rahul and Rashmi and tries to eliminate them. However, Mallika soon regrets her decision and tries to stop Jaidev from killing Rahul. Will she be able to save Rahul from Jaidev's wrath? Will Rahul and Rashmi get married happily?
