Hi All,
My wife Sravanthi and I were recently blessed with a boy child, Anirudh. He is 8 months old now.
We noticed that the baby did not respond to sound, on consultation with doctors, they diagnosed him with Cochlear problem. The doctors said that this is a rare condition and if not operated soon might lead to permanent deafness for the child.
The doctors at MAA E.N.T Hospital, Somajiguda estimated the surgery and hospitalization expense at around 11/12 Lakh .We have checked with other hospitals in Hyderabad and found that the expenses estimate to the same amount.
Coming from a middle class family it is difficult for me to afford all the treatment expenses. Even though I am covered by Satyam’s medical policy, it is limited to a maximum of Rs.1.75 lakh. I have been trying to raise the rest of the treatment expenses from my friends, family and relatives.
