This is a conversation focused specifically on time tracking issues within ServiceM8.
This issue is generally outlined as follows:
Time when checking in to the Job starts by counting down from an arbitrary time
When checked in time counting down does not lapse to 0, all the time is applied to travel time
Checked in time is only applied to the Job after the counted down time lapses 0
Staff members continues to show as "checked in" or "in progress" long after they have checked out of the Job or are currently checked in to another Job

If you have the issue Staff Members continuing to remain "checked in" or "in progress" with Jobs they are not, try these steps:
temporarily assign the job again to the staff the job was previously assigned to
ask the staff to open the job again
tap Start Job
tap Skip Navigation to check in
wait for a minute
tap Check Out
tap Finish
ask the staff can force the mobile app to sync
To do a force sync, please go into the home screen and swipe down until you see an updated status showing date and time
After a few minutes, they can check in on the website and see if the check in time is still in progress
If the problem continues to happen:
ask the staff to log out from the mobile ServiceM8 app
