No Audio on Video recorded and saved to the job dairy

Why is it that I have no audio when playing a video recorded on a job site and saved to the dairy?  The video is there, but with no audio.   I've checked the video/audio playback not using ServiceM8 and it works fine.  This only happens when a video is recorded and saved to the ServiceM8 dairy.   What's the problem?

This is obviously not an expected outcome, but also not one I have seen or heard of much before. I would like to review it with you if you would like, which you can book a time for us to review in a screenshare session at https://www.dddesigned.com/plan-a-call.

In either case, the only questions I have currently is for clarification:
  • When you say it was "recorded on a job site and saved to the dairy", was this video recorded within ServiceM8 (using the camera feature), or recorded using the device camera app and uploaded to the Job after the fact? When you say "This only happens when a video is recorded and saved to the ServiceM8 dairy", I can only assume it is the latter.
    • Assuming this is the case, have you tried to simply record from within the app? If so, what are your results there?
    • Further assuming this is the case, it could be a matter of the format of the video being recorded using recording function outside of ServiceM8, and the resulting file not being fully compatible with the video playback ServiceM8 has implemented.
