Hi

We are a serviceM8 user and utilise the system for;
Scheduling bookings
Assigning to Field Technicians
Invocing

We have integerated the platform with Xero for our accounts & book keeping

We are finding inaccuracies between the systems and are struggling to get reports from SM8 to validate Xero

Our configuration does not use the report module, but we have access to custom reports

Has anyone found a way to produce a report listing all job numbers in an exportable format eg excel..

I am looking for this information within specific period (by month)

Can this be done without the report module

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi Karl,

ServiceM8 does have the FREE Advanced Reporting Pack, which makes it possible to export Job data in bulk in a spreadsheet format. This does include a Job Total column, but I have found this to not be 100% reliable due to how ServiceM8 triggers the updating of this field (where it is possible for the total of the line items and the total of this job total field can be different if the line items were updated in very specific ways), but it is better than nothing.

There is Wink Reports, which while on the pricy side, does allow for reports to be built based on the Line Items totaled to the Job (better and more accurate total), and has integration with Xero if you want to build reporting based on both platforms. There is 1 or 2 other reporting add-ons currently available within ServiceM8's Add-ons, but I don't have any experience with them.

Our PortalMEin platform (https://www.portalmein.com) has just launched, and we will be releasing a Reporting solution here in the next 1-3 months, which will cost less than Wink Reports.
