6000 years ago, Prince Nidingdvi Tehempo donated his whole body

to a starving mother tiger & her 5cubs.

Prince Nidingdvi Tehempo was later was Reborn as Buddha

As Buddha, he later visited this place with his students Syasibo and Maao Kyalgi.

It is believed that one who visits "Nobo Buddha" would wash away his sins.

The den of the Mother Tiger can still be seen there.
