Dear Rotaractors,
When I was thinking about my Club. Instantly, I started to think
about all Rotaract Clubs and thier activities. We Rotaractors have been
doing so many activities and social works but I think we are not
getting enough recognition which we are to be given. So I would like to
get views, opinion and ideas which can help our cause. hope to listen
more from you all.

With warm regards,
Bhuwan K.C.
President (2006-07)

Dear Fellow Club President Rtr. Bhuwan KC,

Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Metro

I agree to the point that you Fellow Rotaractors from Kathmandu Metro have
pondered. Working with and for Rotaract, for last 8/9 years, outlines
similar fact. Even strong community based Programmes every year somewhat
doesnot seem to fulfill our expectations!

But Fellow, what if, we start to think and take it in a bit different
way?...with more practical aspects? Realize Rotaractors are, also, a youth
group working hard for private professional setup. Time and effort that we
render to Rotaract, at large, is always Cent percent. This, in turn,
facilitates a sort of forum for us where we experiment with a real life
situations, and grow accordingly. Please do analyze, we are in Rotaract,
more to groom ourself, in terms of personal and professional development,
than any other reasons!!

Talking about the Rotaract Activities and its impact on Community. By
Rotaract Constitution, one community and other international project a year
is a must. The philosophy behind this is- that: we come out of box and
experience the outer world. Rotaract Movement in Nepal, now, is moving
beyond the frame. The magnitude of Rotaract Club Projects, in terms of
participation and effort, number and frequency, and their scale and impacts
are amazingly increasing. Recent Rotaract programmes justify this very
statement. No doubts!! Projects and Programmes like "Walk Day" of
Rotaract-Kathmandu Metro; "New Year Candle Walk" of Rotaract-Lalitpur;
"Dheusi Bhailo 2063" of Rotaract-Dillibazaar; "Pay Attention to HIV/AIDS" of
Rotaract Patan; "Inter-Rotaract Dance Competition" of Rotaract Patan Darbar
Square; Bus Shelter of Rotaract Bharatpur and others, have made the Distinct
Rotaract Mark!

Regarding the Rotaract Recognition; It is something abstract that ultimately
lingers and come alongwith each and every programmes. We just need to
perceive and realize it. It's easy to do so. Let's note.... I (never been..
face to face with you) recognizes you as the Fellow Club President of
Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Metro!.... The District Council Nepal recognizes
the Fellow Rotaractors of Rotaract kathmandu Metro as member in Good
Standing!... Rotary Club of Kathmandu Metro recognizes Rotaract Club of
Kathmandu Metro as the Partners-in-service..... ..... ....... so Recognition
List is Long!!.

Like wise, taking community based-instances------ Parents of Fellow
Rotaractors from Rotaract Club of Patan Durbar Square supported their Sons
and Daughters and actively participated in their "Inter-Rotaract Dance
Competition"...... An INGO recognize Rotaract Club of Patan as a co-partner
for lunching their "Pay Attention to HIV/AIDS....... and More than 30 toles
of Historic Patan recognized Rotaract Club of Lalitpur as the strong youth
group who has been organizing the "New Year Candle walk" since last 3
years........ Looking at the hierarchy of supporting institutions.... we
find it started with the Individual Family and moves to Business
Institution, and ultimately to Community Cores! The unprecidented
tie-ups!!!

At last, Fellow Club President, what I personally feel is that we youths
really takecare of our Homeland and wish to bring positve change with
collective efforts for everyone's benefits. And in the due course, we really
aim high and forgets that even God takes his time to make a tree!! And on
the other side our community needs serious attentions and thereby hatch
Great Expectations!!! The balance between these two objects by correct
positioning the fulcrum, should be what Rotaract work for!.... Yes!! We
youth are born for same!!! IF WE AT ROTARACT WON'T, WHO ELSE SHALL???

With Regards,
Rtr. Tonil Maharjan.
