Default Bluetooth Name On Smartphone being changed Permanently by Serval Mesh (batphone)

The Bluetooth name of my test android phones are being permanently changed to Serval:E.y or a variation of this.

Is there any work around this?

Have scoured the blogs and conversations -  And have not seen any reference to or a fix

While the software is enabled, this will be your bluetooth name. Disable or turn off bluetooth and your device name should be restored.
