Ihonestly dont know what to do anymore. I just spent like an hour on a piece and saved it just to find out it hasnt been saved then entring another file in hope it might be some glitch that will fix itself found out my filed have Corrupted for the THIRD time this past TOW weeks.

As pre my Previous post i use samsung note 10 lite after switching from an iphone 6. I have been using sketchbook for about 2 or three years now and this is the first time anything like this happned to me let alone three times in a row and honestly i want to cry. I keep lossing so much of my work and things i take hours to make too.

Ive done what support here told me to do from the prevoiuse post. It helped for a while but then it came back so i did it again. And now it happned for a third time and i just dont know what to do anymore. Nor what can cause this to happen?

So is anybody at autodesk trying to actually fix these problems, or is the only response going to be some version of "back up your work, reinstall, create multiple saves, save often, and hope all your files dont corrupt at the same time"?

This really doesnt help me. Especially because I'm not that good with technology and im not sure where sketchbook 3 is in my sketchbook gallery or how to save coppies of my work. And I don't want to be in constant fear of losing all of my work.

Isnt there any Solution? I can't be the only one who experienced those problems. Isnt there a way to try and back track the Source because there is clearly something on my phone that's causing it if it happened even after i both reseted and deleted the app.

Hi, you need to update your iPhone 6. In case you find any error on your iPhone Photo App use any iPhone data recovery software such as Stellar Data Recovery for iPhone which help you to reocver corrupt or damaged images from your iPhone 6 or iTunes or iCloud. Thanks!

You can try free Android recovery tool such as Stellar Data Recovery for Android which help you to recover call history, contacts, messages, documents, WhatsApp chats & media, audios, photos, and video files from any Android phone or table and also Samsung note 10 lite.

Each time you do that it creates a new separate file. So if you do that 3 times when you want to save, you will have the separate files of the same thing. This WILL NOT keep files from corrupting. It just gives you multiple copies so that, hopefully, they don't all corrupt at the same time. This way you can just pick a different copy of the same thing.

Now just press and hold the .tiff file you want to copy. You should be able to pick multiple files by pressing, holding, and then sliding your finger down over the other files. You can also pick multiple files by selecting one, then just tapping other individual files. You should see something like this:

You can create your backup folder in other places. For instance you can open "my files" app, pick internal storage, and create the folder folder there. If you have an SD card in your phone, you can save backup copies there. Just make the copy, hit the back button at the top until you see the sdcard option, pick that and hit copy there.

You can share the file to another phone or tablet using bluetooth. Make sure the devices are connected. Then when you get to the copy step, just pick share instead. You'll probably have to hit accept on the device your copying to. Then you can find the file on the second device by going to "my files">internal storage>downloads.

I only know how to do this with windows, but you can make a copy on a pc or laptop. Connect your phone to the device using the USB cable. You should see a pop up on the pc/laptop. Some kind of allow message, just hit yes or ok. Then you need to open the "file explore". If you don't know where it is there should be a search option in or near your start menu. Just type in file explore. This works similar to the "my files" app on your phone. Find your phone listed on the side, pick it. You should be able to find the autodesk>sketchbooks3 file fairly easily. Resize the window so you computer see your desktop. On your desktop, make a new folder(right click) and open it. Select the .tiff files from your phone and drag them to the folder you made on your desktop. Done!

highly frustrated with sketchbook due to corrupted files, lost layers, lost files, hiccups when saving files with layers only to find files and copies turned into pngs. not helpful: cryptic names of .tiffs that do not correspond with names given to files in the gallery...

If we ignore the few times I've scribbled letters and smiley faces in ms paint back in school, my first "actual" program was Colors!3D. A software that was available for the Nintendo3DS(XL) and which was also the console I drew on. I absolutely loved drawing on that thing, and the best part was that you could bring your work much more to life with the 3D effect. There was this copy-paste and erase layer trick that I always used, to give pieces depth. It was a really fun thing to mess around with. I drew on it almost daily.. I also has a community, I also still have a few things up in my gallery but this isn't nearly all. I also had a different acc before that with hundreds but as dumb as I was the majority is deleted.

I've never heard of Colors before, but what Google shows me looks cool and it's impressive you managed to work with that! The only 3DS app I've ever used to draw was Flipnote, but then again it wasn't really designed to illustrate as much as to animate, so.

On the topic re: first drawing program, mine was a cracked version of Paint Tool SAI that a friend shared lol. The vector tool was a godsent feature for me who at that time owns nothing but a mouse, and I really love the overlay/luminosity layer. When I got to make money by myself from doing commissions, I bought the genuine version and I still use it to this day. I owe my art life to that program so much xD I find myself drawing on my iPad with CSP more recently, though.

aside from ms paint lol my first art program was also a pirated Sai ;v; or if counting online based programs then those firsts were dA muro and sketchfu ^^ I drew using the laptop track pad at the time too. I really liked the time-lapse function sketchfu had, it was so fun to watch ;v; I only used da muro b/c it was there lol and I played with the limited effect brushes mostly but I drew a few pieces with my ocs too

mspaint aside it was gimp for me! which isnt actually a drawing program but preteen/early teen me literally didnt care about that. though i also used flash (cs6 i think?) as a drawing program in those days too

Flipnote for the ds and autodesk sketchbook, I think. Not enough money to fix the computer for mspaint. It went autodesk> Ibis paint> krita> procreate> csp. Maybe I'll try drawing the same thing in all of those & compare.

ibis paint that i still use to this day! stinky art program that i made my cool lookin' art still! i need to adapt to new art programs but my tablet with either srcream at me cause low storage due to genshin impact or i have no idea how to work any other programs at the moment.

Procreate has a well earned reputation as one of the go-to apps for digital illustration and design, thanks to its intuitive interface, powerful tools, and extensive brush library. However, Android users often find themselves searching for comparable apps to bring their creative visions to life. While Procreate may not be an option for Android devices, there's a diverse range of drawing apps available on the Google Play Store that can meet the needs of artists and designers alike.

-Professional-Grade Drawing Tools: Just like Procreate, Clip Studio Paint boasts a range of professional-grade drawing tools, including customizable brushes, pen stabilization, and advanced brush settings. Similar to Procreate, it has also slowly been climbing up the ranks to being an industry standard and in turn making it a competitor to Adobe Photoshop as well. In addition to that, there is also an in-app store and community where you can browse and discover endless materials for your art.

-Layer Support and Animation Features: Like we see in Procreate as well as most (if not all) drawing apps out there, Clip Studio Paint offers layer support, allowing artists to organize their artwork into separate layers for easier editing and manipulation. Additionally, the app includes animation features, making it suitable for creating animations and storyboard illustrations.

-Vector and Raster Drawing: Unlike Procreate which isn't made to support for vector-based artworks, one of the standout features of Clip Studio Paint is its support for both vector and raster drawing. This means you can work with scalable vector graphics (SVG) and high-res raster images, giving you lots of flexibility in your creative process.

-Range of Brushes: Like Procreate, MediBang Paint provides users with a number of amazing default brushes to suit various artistic styles and preferences. Whether you prefer digital painting, anime illustration, or comic book art, you'll find a brush that fits your needs in MediBang Paint's extensive library.

-Collaborative Tools and Cloud Storage: One of the standout features of MediBang Paint is its collaborative tools, which enable multiple users to work on the same project simultaneously. This makes it an excellent choice for collaborative projects or group illustrations. Furthermore, MediBang Paint offers cloud storage for artwork, allowing users to access their creations from any device with an internet connection.

-Customizable Brushes and Layer Support: Similar to Procreate, Autodesk SketchBook offers a wide range of staple brushes, allowing for unique effects and textures in your artwork. Additionally, the app provides layer support, enabling users to organize their drawings into separate layers for easier navigation.

-Perspective Guides and Rulers: Autodesk SketchBook and Procreate are also similar in the inclusion of perspective guides and rulers. These tools allow artists to create accurate perspective drawings with ease, making Autodesk SketchBook the go-to choice as particularly suitable for architectural and industrial design projects for Android users.
