Welcome to the Sero Project discussion listserve for posting information, articles and ideas concerning the empowerment of people with HIV and HIV-related stigma, discrimination and criminalization.

We will revise the posting rules as it becomes necessary for clarity or to keep the list on point, but in general, these are the things to keep in mind:

1) First and foremost, this is a private listserve. Comments posted here may not be forwarded off list or shared with others. We want this listserve to provide an open exchange of ideas about our work, including discussions concerning strategy that would not be appropriate to share widely. Any published articles or links that are posted on the Sero listserve may be shared, but the comments from members of the listserve cannot be shared unless they provide their permission to do so. Anyone inappropriately forwarding or sharing private posts from the listserve will be reprimanded and/or removed from the list. It is important that we develop the level of trust necessary to have a frank and lively discussion.

2) Do not attack others. The discussions on the listserve are meant to stimulate conversation not to create contention. Let others have their say, just as you may, in a civil manner. We want the tough issues, that sometimes can get contentious, discussed but in a constructive manner.

3) Invite others who you think would benefit from participation on the listserve to join us. Posts from new members of the listserve will be initially moderated.

4) You can control how frequently you receive postings; either as they are posted, in a daily digest, or bundled or, if you like, not as email but accessible to you online.

5) The SERO Project reserves the right to remove anyone from the listserv for any reason, including for violation of the guidelines listed above.
