There are a few websites with 3D plants you can purchase and use them in Lumion, they are not going to be animated do. But they work fine for rendering images, the option I use the most os the 3D Warehouse from SketchUp. Just be careful to download 3d good quality and low polygon models. The low polygon is important for the workflow speed, the heavier your model becomes working in it in Lumion is going to become slower.
However, with each new Project I have to go back and try and remember which trees, plants and flowers I had selected before. I know you can save "favorites" but that doesn't work if you save something you like but don't use in the array. You are still stuck sifting through the plants.
I could save a "template" Lumion file with the plants already added, but then I'd spend lots of time moving and rearranging the plants around the house. Or each project would look "cookie-cutter" with the same plants in the same places. Using the "array" function might use the same plants, but they would be in different places and have different sizes.
