Download Onenote Document From Onedrive

You said you downloaded from onedrive but there's also an option on onenote online, so, for now, I'll treat it as if you had only tried onedrive but not the other (Microsoft is confusing, am I right?).
If I can't transfer/copy the onenote notebooks to onedrive please advise how I transfer them onto the new laptop in/with dropbox - I don't get the structure. I know that I can change the path and that I can export but the export. But when I export one notebook into onepkg-file and I click on it on the new pc nothing happens (can't be read, search for app, nothing).
I was able to upload the onenote files onto the box only when they arrived there then they became a file of nothing. My company is trying to use the box to upload onenote files to the box.com so that people from all over can open those onenote files from anywhere with no problem. I did notice that it really did not like .one file format and I was wondering if onenote was compatable in anyway since I have synced onenote files onto box and tried to get them off and it came back out unreadable.
Thanks for your post, the steps you described would only work from a laptop or desktop,were you able to find a way to do this from a mobile device. The issue is when trying to add a cloud service from One Note Box is not listed but it is listed on other office 365 applications. It seems that OneNote only sees onedrive and not Box as a service.

Office Online is a version of Office products you can use to create, edit and share documents from any modern web browser. You do have to use your ODU account to activate the Microsoft Office installation, and after activation, your ODU OneDrive will be visible within your Office software. However, you can add additional personal OneDrive accounts so you can open and save documents from either account.
