Monday, November 21st Loop of Coin (7.1 miles) - depart at 11:40.
Tuesday, November 22nd Park Loop (8 miles) - depart at 11:30.
Wednesday, November 23rd Loop de Loop (10 miles) - depart at 11:30.
All official departures will take place from the northwest corner of 9th & High. Note the departure times as they differ each day due to the length of the course.
Things to keep in mind:
- Can’t believe this has to be said, but No Smoking
- Safety first…and second…and third. Always look for yourself before crossing the street. Don’t just blindly follow the person ahead of you.
- The Turkey Trifecta is open to anyone. Please share this invitation with others.
- These are intended to be social runs. Everyone is expected to attempt to stay together.
- Each participant who completes the Turkey Trifecta will be awarded an authentic, beautifully handcrafted and individually signed Certificate Suitable for FramingTM. Hopefully the walls of your work cubicle are wallpapered with these already. Wouldn’t one look great hanging in your home office!
- Again this year! Anyone who completes the entire Trifecta within one 24 hour period will be awarded, in addition to an authentic, beautifully handcrafted and individually signed Certificate Suitable for FramingTM, a frozen Swanson turkey TV dinner.
Once you complete the Trifecta, please send me an email as record of your official finish. If you’re not in Des Moines next week, satellite Turkey Trifectas are available in, among other cities, Las Vegas, Davenport, West Des Moines, St. Louis, Tucson, Lee’s Summit, Grimes, Denver, Stockholm and Vail. Contact your local SCRC rep for more details. Accompanying Garmin, Strava, Timex Ironman splits (TC), etc. data is welcome but not required.
