Stage 3 – March 6: Loop of Pain
Stage 4 – March 7: Loop of Pain (backwards)
Event Specifics:
Fine Print You Should Carefully Read
I know that participating in any running race is a potentially hazardous activity and participating in Roundman verifies I am not very bright. I enter and run this race certifying that I am medically able, marginally sober and properly trained. I assume any and all risks associated with running this event including, but not limited to, street crossings surge fouls, insults, disparaging comments about my mother, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of extreme weather, hypothermia, hyperthermia, Coronavirus and the generally lovely conditions of South of Grand. Knowing these facts and in consideration of your acceptance of an optional nominal entry fee, I hereby for myself, my heirs, my executors, administrators, wives known and unknown or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release, and discharge ‘organizers’ of this event – SCRC® Leadership, past and present (DBA Real Mens Locker Room®) and any individual and organization associated with the event, volunteers, and any and all sponsors, including their agents, employees, assigns or anyone acting for or on their behalf, from any and all claims of liability for death, personal injury foreseen or unforeseen, known and unknown. In addition, a complete lack of local government and police oversight will be provided at no extra charge. Showing up for this event further grants full permission to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legal purpose including blackmail. I also understand that nominal entry fees are not refundable under any circumstance, race registrations are not transferable or refundable to other participants, future years races or other SCRC® running events. Period. The Race Director reserves the right to modify or cancel the race or alter the course for safety concerns (very unlikely), road condition concerns or natural disaster. In such cases there will be no refunds of nominal race entry fees. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their nominal entry fee paid. There is no complimentary race entry to a future race. Nominal entry fees collected are used to develop and produce the event, starting well in advance of the race date – including course preparation, race supplies, permits, administration and home improvement projects for race ‘organizers’. Every effort to produce a fair and safe event for all participants will be arbitrarily communicated and executed. Any decision that impacts the race is imprudently considered and based on the overall event safety, sustainability and manageability and is at the whim of race ‘organizers’ and will not happen anyway. I agree to abide by the rules and decisions of race officials, SCRC® Leadership past and present. I have read the foregoing and certify my agreement by opening this email and continuing with the registration process. (Parent or guardian must sign if applicant is under 18 years of age). No littering. And no whining.
