Harry will receive something from Albus Dumbledore. I figure that
either:

1. Dumbledore planned to not be alive by Harry's 17th birthday and
arranged (way in advance) to send him a 17th birthday gift, or
2. Dumbledore's will includes an item (or items) for Harry Potter.

The best bet is the Pensieve. Second up would be the golden pocket
watch. Next choice would be the Put-Outer. Last choice would be some
silver instrument from his office, like the one puffing snake-like
smoke.

The Pensieve would be great. Harry would be able to collect memories
from people and examine them. He'd be able to extract his own
memories
and analyse all sorts of events, including what happened at Godric's
Hollow the night of the attack on the Potters.

The golden pocket watch... well, we don't know what all it does, but
it could be a method of either time travel or invisibility. Time
travel is the better bet, since it's a watch. I only mention
invisibility because Dumbledore said he could become invisible
without
a cloak....

The Put-Outer could be useful for the same reason Dumbledore used it
-- to go un-noticed in a Muggle area at night, without becoming
invisible.

The silver instrument that emmitted the entwined snake smoke could
alos be useful, but I'm not sure how yet. It might have somethingto
do
with the mental bond between Harry and Voldemort. Too bad Dumbledore
didn't spell out for us (or Harry) the significance of the two smokey
snakes....

What do you think Harry should receive from Dumbledore? Do you think
he'll get anything?
