Friends activity

Hi,

Don't know if it's just me, but every time I go to Friends Activity I get the message "No friend activity on trakt."

Is it broken? When I logon to trakt.tv site I see my friends activity. But not on seriesguide.

it works fine for me. However there might be no activity displayed by SeriesGuide if it is older than 30 days.

Well, I spent some time trying to figure it out but still no luck. Let me try do give insight of what I'm experiencing.

Me and my wife, both have a trakt.tv account, where we are "friends", and both use seriesguide. We've watched episodes in the past 30 days (in fact, this tuesday), so there's definitely activity. When we go to seriesguide friends activity, always the same, "No friend activity on trakt." We tried to refresh with no luck.

When we logon in trakt.tv site we can see friends activity. I see her watched episodes on my account and she can see mine watched episodes on her account. But I found out that if we choose watched episodes in the site dashboard, we get a list with them, but if we choose "all actions" we get nothing (even on the site ... "no activity found"). Although this could be a trakt.tv site related issue maybe it's responsible for the behavior we get in seriesguide?

Any suggestions to debug this?

could you give me one of your trakt user names (mail uwe AT seriesgui.de directly, if you don't want to post it here), so I can try retrieving the activity through the API? (The user should not have its activity protected, or I won't be able to see anything without entering credentials.)

Nicoletta,

sorry, did not post the solution here: trakt does only show check in activity of your friends, not if they just flag episodes as watched. So your friends should use check ins/scrobbles so you'll see their activity.
