A new version of SerialMon was released on 2011-02-28:

Version: 1.5
- Uninstall caused non-working serialports. This has been fixed.
- Use SerialMon 1.x Cleanup after uninstalling version prior to 1.x
- DLL-files for software monitoring upgraded.

There was a major problem with uninstallation of v1.2-v1.4.
Uninstalling SerialMon would cause the serial ports to stop working.
This was an issue with uninstallation of a third party component. This
was solved in v1.5, but you will have to run "SerialMon 1.x Cleanup"
after uninstallation of v1.4.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The good news is that v2.0 will be released soon. It's a major update
from the current 1.x. Stay tuned.
