CDH4 Cluster : Cannot create job clientServer IPC version 7 cannot communicate with client version 4

Hello,

I have created a CDH4 cluster, and when I try to run a job (wordcount...) I get this error message :
Cannot create job clientServer IPC version 7 cannot communicate with client version 4

I have realized that I get it for all "mr" commands.

Has someone already met and solved this issue?

I've tried to delete this cluster and to create it again, just to see if it's a random issue, and no. I get the error message again, for every "mr" command.

An idea?

Hi Nicolas,

I guess you use wrong Hadoop library. We have tested /usr/lib/hadoop-0.20-mapreduce/hadoop-2.0.0-mr1-cdh4.2.0-examples.jar works well.
