Hello,

I'd like to welcome our new members. This group is only just the
beginning; my goal is to establish a positive writing community that
ranks among the world's top online writers' groups. There are many
great writers' groups out there, but it is time we manifest a
community of like-minded, inspirational authors and poets. Whether you
are a published novelist or an aspiring poet, Serendipitous Writers'
Group welcomes you with open arms. This group started as a simple, yet
powerful vision on Thursday July 5, 2007, and I have taken the first
step to manifesting my goal: This is the birth of YOUR writers'
community. Please post your poems and stories, as long as they're
positive or inspirational in some manner. In other words, we will
refrain from murder mysteries and scandals on this group; although I'm
not condemning those types of stories in any way, there are plenty of
sources for them. Also, since SWG was just born, we will be
transforming and growing as more readers and writers find us. So, even
though Google Groups is a great starting platform, the way we appear
at this moment is not permanant. I intend to have our own website by
early 2008. I am grateful for all who have been a part of our birth,
not only now, but in the future as well. Thank you all so much for
joining this community. My e-mail box is always open for your
questions, comments and suggestions.
