I'm using an asset gem to inject a serenade app into our main rails app. The serenade templates are not compiling. I'm think this has something to do with sprockets being pulled out into a gem in rails 4, but I'm not sure. If I just copy all the files to the rails app/assets/javascripts directory, everything works as expected. Serenade::Template does seem to be registered as a sprockets engine. Can anybody advise? Thanks!

Never seen this before. Sounds very strange, especially if Serenade::Template is loaded. Sprockets is all kinds of weird though :(
