Spam issue in Google Groups

Dear all,

I really apologize for my slow reply here, things are not helped by the considerable amount of spam I have to remove every time I look into the threads.

Should I move the support for Sequenza some other, maybe more engaging platforms, like a discord server?

Any suggestion is appreciated (if you still follow the group notifications, are you bothered by the spam at all, or is google actually muting those messages?)

Just banned all the users posting spam messages and delete the messages, also update group settings to new members should send a request before joining, only members in the group should be able to post messages,
