Hi,

Our sequence server installation is not detecting the sequence type hence throwing following error when blast is run :

Oops! Request Failed

BLAST algorithm should be one of: blastn, blastp, blastx, tblastn, tblastx.

Can you please help ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Gagan

Hi Gagan,

Were you trying to customise the installation, i.e., did you modify the code in any way?

Which browser? Did you set a sequence type notification? https://sequenceserver.com/img/overview/search.png

If not, was it an ultra-short sequence? That is, less than 10 characters?

Hi Priyam,

Thanks for your prompt reply. Yes we do change some configuration because some security policies need to be implemented in the organization. Surprisingly it works in IE not in other browsers.

We figured out now that The issue is somehow caused by the CSP (content security policy) settings in the Apache.

Regards,
Gagan

Hi Gagan,

Thank you for sharing. I suppose the CSP setting might have prevented the javascript bundle from loading.
