Linking Sequenceserver results to Jbrowse

Hi, I am using sequence server 1.0.14 on Apache. I am trying to connect it now with Jbrowse via links.rb file as described here  < https://jbrowse.org/docs/faq.html#how-can-i-link-blast-results-to-jbrowse >. So far, w/o much success. 

1. I am not sure that i understand where the links.rb file should be present - in the /etc/sequenceserver/ directory, with the .conf files? or in the installation directory?

2. Is the example given on jbrowse documentation is an example of links.rb file? 

3. What else do I miss?
