Sequel Pro supports views in the sense that it will recognise the
existence of any views within a database and display them in the table
list in a way that they are distinguishable from normal tables. The
interface however does not yet currently support the direct creation
of views by selecting which tables and columns are the basis of the
view and so the only method to create views directly within Sequel Pro
is by executing a query within the custom query view. There are
however plans to build upon and improve the current support for the
creation of database objects (tables, views, functions, etc.) in
allowing the user greater control of them, so look out for such
functionality in future versions.
