Hi Martin,

I think this is

a(n) = floor(p(n)/200), for n >= 12,

where p(n) is the n-th Mersenne-prime exponent (p(12)=127).

So:
127 → 0,
521 → 2,
607 → 3,
1279 → 6,
2203 → 11,
2281 → 11,

Is this the construction? How did you come across this?
I got to Mersenne by looking at some of the stuff you have recently posted about and worked on. Was a fun puzzle, thanks!
