The first draft human certificate for the special "ternatree" case turned
out decently readable, and it explains why we found two methods:
The coefficients can be summed under the integral sign, and then we
get an integral definition of the entire generating function.
That integral definition isn't a lot different than the coefficient's integral
definition, so their reduction matrix data turns out similar.
There's more acrobatics that needs to be done, and I think a LEAN pass
could possibly help straighten things out. The pdf definitely also needs
some perfectionist human editing, even in the abstract, but I don't think
I'm extorting anyone with this baseline:
The figure on page 9 is pretty cool, because it shows where the pseudo
code is leaving functions to imagination. Then you can compare with
python sympy realization to see which of those imaginary functions
exist pre-built in the python library.
I also had the LLM's write some Kanshi poetry, and they came up with
some bizarre entries. I'd rank them all about equal:
The pseudo-code itself is worth a lot more since it was useful for both
Kimi at Moonshot AI and Claude at Anthropic AI to one-shot clone by
rewrite. Well, Claude at first tried to cheat and had to be corrected.
Sonnet mode seemed relatively fast but maybe not as thorough
as Kimi.
This is exciting. I look forward to writing more pseudocode. If it goes
into the oeis, though, it might need to be an attachment. It's shorter
than python but still too much for the front page of A120590.
We will definitely want integral definitions, and maybe also the matrix
data for the reduction procedure that derives the recurrence directly.
I don't think we need the Poetry digest on OEIS, but it's funny to
include at the prototyping location.
I welcome comments from the anti-pseudocode majority and anyone
else how we should finalize here.
My sense of the circumstance is kind of wild-west right now, and I'm
aware how getting things right now could affect the future positively.
