I have several sequences from Coding Theory to submit.

My Question is should I name them using the language of the field that they come from Coding Theory, or use language more familiar in OEIS,  ?

I can name them like
     1.    "number of detected error patterns from a n X n parity code"

Or name them like
       2.    "number of two rooks patterns in a n X n row or column undetected"

the sequences and the names are(will be) equivalent, and the one not in the  name will be in the comments section.

(I know those are not specific enough)

Thanks - GT

Either form would be fine. We have plenty of sequences with names taken from coding theory.

Use one of them as the sequence title, and put the other one in a comment.

Brendan.
