Sporadic buses not tracking correctly on their correct routes

Noticed quite a few buses which aren't tracking correctly throughout the system.  Noticed this glitch in the Transitview feed starting from this past Friday. 

Here are some issues I've noticed :

For example a bus was tracking on the route 24 but was likely on the route R.

Also noticed sometimes a bus tracking on let's say the 65 on City Avenue and it's actually the 44. What's odd is the times and directions would line up with the 65 but it's not.

This is just few of many occurrences.

Were assumptions recently implemented into this feed?

This is still occuring. Sounds like some form of "route matching" algorithm has been implemented.

For example if 3004 is tracking in the path on City avenue and its actually the 52, it may show up as on the 65. And the bus on the 65 may show up as either the 52 or not tracking at all.

I thought the method was to capture whenever the farebox or orbital was logged in?
