The revival of the play featured Broadway star Julie Benko as narrator and the GRAMMY-nominated Western Wind Vocal Ensemble singing the all Ladino songs. Jane Mushabac wrote the play on commission for National Public Radio in 1992 on the 500th anniversary of the Expulsion of the Jews from Spain.
