I am delighted to share that my article, "Diaspora and Belonging: Re-Inventing Tunisian Jewish Life in Chochana Boukhobza’s For the Love of the Father," has been published online in the journal Jewish Culture and History (Taylor & Francis/Routledge). Co-authored with Brahim Barhoun, the paper draws on theories of memory and Maghrebography to examine how Boukhobza's novel reclaims the histories of Maghrebi Jewish women in postcolonial and diasporic discourse, challenging Eurocentric narratives and exploring themes of exile, generational conflict, and cultural hybridity within Tunisian Jewry.
