A new issue of Sephardic Horizons has just been posted. Vol. 14, no. 2 presents Leonard Stein on the musical poetry of three nineteenth century Sephardic women, John Sears on Eleanor Roosevelt and the immigration of Moroccan Jews to Israel, Marvin Heller on a family of prominent Sephardic sages, and Nancy Saporta Sternbach with a memoir on "My Mother's Tongue." Our particularly rich Ladino section has contributions by Gloria Ascher, Asher Amado, Niso Guvenish, and Aaron Shapiro, reflecting new creativity in Ladino, and is followed by eight book reviews, encompassing genealogy, Jews in Italy's colonial empire, and other topics.  Happy reading and wishing Paskua alegre a todos muestros meldadores, Judith Roumani, Annette Fromm, and Altan Gabbay.
