Welcome to the SEPEEG GoogleGroup!  The SouthEast Population Ecology and Evolutionary Genetics group meeting is on tap for 12-14.October and will be held at the Clemson Outdoor Laboratory.  Our special invited speaker is Dr. David Heckel, Director at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology. Registration for SEPEEG 2012 will open Tuesday September 4th, closing Thursday September 27th. More information is available on the GoogleGroup site, thus we hope you join the SEPEEG GoogleGroup listserv for SEPEEG 2012 information and as a long term system for exchange amongst researchers in the SouthEast studying PEEG processes.

Preview items:
1. Registration will be approx. $130 (payable by checks only)

2. ASN support: Generous support from the American Society of Naturalists (ASN) will cover a reduced registration for the first student registrants (undergrad + grad). ASN will also sponsor dinner plates of 10 upstate SC in-service high school teachers for Saturday night so that these teachers can join us for dinner plus poster session interactions. Additional support from ASN will help sponsor invited speaker Dr. Heckel.

3. Housing Friday night and Saturday night (very family friendly cabins and suites available; A/C and heat). For more information, see the Outdoor Lab website: http://www.clemson.edu/centers-institutes/outdoor-lab/

4. Breakfast Saturday morning through lunch Sunday and coffee breaks will be included, and you may want to use your new SEPEEG tumbler for hot and cool beverages (included in registration) ;-)

5. Super simple registration form (SSRF) will be used for registration. No abstracts, but you will need to provide a title and whether you want to present a poster or talk.

6. Please encourage undergraduate and graduate students to attend!

Housing fees are separate from the registration fee. Is that correct?
