Dear SEPEEG group, 

Reminder about registration steps: 

1. Registration form submission is a separate step and can be completed anytime to confirm that you are attending SEPEEG 2012

2. PayPal payment for registration fees is due September 27th (thank you!).

UPDATE: ASN student registration discount

The specific update: Students applying for registration discount should become members of the American Society of Naturalists (ASN).  Student membership costs $20 for one year, $51 for three years and comes with several benefits including electronic journal access.  We will likely have support available for all student entries for this $25 discount, thus all students (undergraduate and graduate) are strongly encouraged to submit the simple entry.  

Application for this award consists of submitting a single sentence description and citation to the question "What is the most influential peer-reviewed scientific paper contributing towards our understanding of  how ecology, evolution, and population genetics shape biodiversity within the past 50 years?". Deadline is 5:00PM EST Monday September 17th. Awardees will be notified by Monday September 24th. Payment for full registration will be due by the September 27th deadline set for all SEPEEG 2012 registrants.

An independent, anonymous reviewer of submissions will approve applications. All submissions will be put into a small presentation that will scroll through entries during dinner Saturday evening... to spark discussion!
