Greetings SEPEEG 2012-ers!

A few suggestions for dinner tonight if you are in the Clemson or Greenville area when you dine (recall, no catering tonight just beverages by the bonfire):

If you have time... head to downtown Greenville for 'Fall for Greenville'  (a food fair)

Saffron (excellent)

Lots of typical places off of 'Woodruff Road' off of Hwy 85 (northbound, go right at exit; southbound, go left at exit)

Directly in Clemson:

NOT suggested... House of Leunge (or as we call it 'Lungs').  Trust us.

Good options: 

  Brioso, Blue Heron, Thai Spice, El Jimador, Friends (Persian/Iranian), Woodstone Pita (broadly Mediterranean) 

  Pub grub:  TD's, Tiger Town Tavern, Winging It (wings place), 357

  Other typicals: Chipotle, Moe's SW, several fast food joints

In Anderson: dressy casual options

The Galley

Nami (Japanese)

Romano's

"Smokin' Pig"  off of Hwy 76 is also highly recommended (thanks Margaret!).  Feel free to picnic your dinner at the Outdoor Lab... the organizers and volunteers are going to.

I believe you have been contacted by my colleague Kim Yeoman and her not being able to make it to the conference due to illness (hence, she will not be presenting her work). Have you been able to find a replacement for her?

Hi Amy, Thanks for your quick reply. I can confirm Kim will, unfortunately, not be attending the conference, she still does not feel well. I can try to develop a presentation from now until then (i.e, present my work instead of displaying my poster), however, I am having some technical issues, which I am not sure I can solve. If you have not found someone by tomorrow then, perhaps, I may be able to take her place (if you would like that). Thank you and sorry for Kim's last minute cancellation.
