Clear Channel Philadelphia is hosting a Digital Youth Summit streamed live on the web with Mayor Michael Nutter on Thursday July 8, 2010 from 5:30-6:15 PM in the Clear Channel Performance Studio hosted by Director of News and Community Affairs Loraine Ballard Morrill. Mayor Nutter will address questions from a live studio audience of youth 15-21. Listeners will also be able to ask questions through Facebook and Twitter about issues of concern to young people including safety, education, jobs and after school

The Commission represents Philadelphia’s youth in public hearings and provides testimony that reflects the youth perspective. The Commission works with the city, non-profits, community organizations, and private entities to develop strategies to improve the lives of Philadelphia’s youth. The Commission advises the Mayor,
