Request additional resources

Hello,

I am conducting a mangrove mapping update for all of Mozambique, for a research project and I intend to create optical and radar mosaics for different years to use in a supervised classification and to perform a change detection. I would like to be able to export these composites from SEPAL to GEE and as I understand I need resources. I am not sure how many resources I need to perform these operations, as at the moment I have just the basics. Could you tell me what would be the suitable values to request for monthly spending and storage space, and how I should do it?

Dear Luis, 

Glad to see that you'll be using SEPAL for your Mangrove mapping! If you only intend to export them to GEE using recipes, you don't need to request extra resources as we are fully relying on your GEE account (don't forget to connect it to SEPAL: https://docs.sepal.io/en/latest/setup/gee.html#connection-between-gee-and-sepal). If you also want to use our instances (to run scripts, download mosaics as .Tif images, use a terminal) then you should request extra resources following this instructions: https://docs.sepal.io/en/latest/setup/resource.html.

If you are unsure about the amount of resources needed, explain carefully the use case in the comments of your request and our maintainer will size your quota based on their experience.

Dear Pierrick,

I tried again, but still I was not able to retrieve my recipe for the SEPAL workplace or GEE asset, even though I am connected to my Google/GEE account. Is this because of lacking resources or am I missing something? I am attaching print screens of it.

Can you confirm your Google account is GEE whitelisted and are you sure you initialized your HOME FOLDER  within GEE ?

it's working now. The retrieve icon is now possible to select and I am able to retrieve my recipe to the workspace and GEE assets.

So, if one want retrieve data from SEPAL, he need adtional resource. How could I set the minium budgets on each resources so that I can retrieve data.
