Hello Everyone,
I have an issue when downloading images on Sepal, every time when I try to download an image through File zilla or Google Earth Earth engine,I get same image but somehow resolution has changed, so how do I dowload the same image as I see it on the dashboard?

Additional information
On Frame 1 that's how it looks at Sepal Dashboard, frame 2 that's after downloading using Google Earth Engine and File Zilla

Hi,
On the SEPAL process what is happening is that SEPAL request tiles from GEE every time you move or change the zoom level. The max resolution you can get there is the native resolution of your specific satellites. If you zoom more it will simply become blur.

On GIS/ArcGIS the .tif image is defining the max resolution and in your case it seems quite coarse. My guess is that you exported your image ate a large resolution like 100 m hence the "pixelisation". Could you try again making sure that you are using at least 30m ?

Best,

What software are you using to display the .tif file ?

ok now that we know that you are using QGIS, can you double click on the raster, go to information -> pixel size. let me know what is the size of your exported pixels

It seems that you are just answering to me, don't forget to respond to all so that my colleagues can follow your issue.
The resolution of your pixel is .008° which is around 800m at the equator. That's way to big. Could you share you recipe here so that my colleagues from the platform can understand better your issue ?

Looking at the message you send me, it seems that you are exporting your image the Earthengine as an Image Asset. The image you downloaded is a thumbnail. If you want to download the asset you need to export to "sepal-workspace" and then download the image folder to your computer. By opening the included .vrt file you will get the image at the requested resolution.
